Frequently Asked Questions
-
How often do I need to use the toothpaste?Just like you brush your teeth — once or twice a day. That’s it. No extra steps, no new routines. Just swap your tube and keep brushing. The secret is consistency. Each tube is made to last for 1 month at brushing twice a day. I like your smile!
-
How long does it take to notice results? Some users feel a difference in weeks. For others, it’s a few months. But here’s the magic: once it works, it really works. The wait is worth the lifelong freedom.
-
Is the relief really permanent?Yes — for most people, the results stick. We aren't allowed to make a medical claim that this permanently relieves your allergies, but this does support your immune system in providing lasting relief. Once your immune system resets, it doesn't need a reminder every season. That said, everyone’s biology is unique, and we’re here to walk with you every step of the way. For best results brush for 3-5 years. The younger you are, the faster your immune system learns. You've got this Champ!
-
What type of allergies does it help with?We target the heavy hitters: grasses, weeds, trees, dust, cats, and dogs. If you sneeze through spring or avoid your best friend's golden retriever, this is for you. In all we support the relief of 84 different allergens. Wow!
-
What makes this different from traditional allergy medications or treatments? Most allergy treatments play defense. Ours plays offense. While antihistamines mask symptoms, our formula retrains your immune system at the source — no pills, sprays, or shots needed. Just a tube of toothpaste with a rebellious streak. Champ allergy toothpaste is most like allergy immunotherapy except you don't need to go to a doctor's office, get a prescription, or carry an EpiPen. Champ allergy toothpaste doesn't provide immediate relief, but it's designed to support permanent allergy relief.
-
How does allergy toothpaste work?Think of it like brushing away your allergies. Our toothpaste uses proprietary compounds that train your immune system while you brush — building a new tolerance to airborne allergens like pollen, pet dander, and dust. We deliver allergen proteins safely to Langerhans cells in your cheeks, gums, tongue, and roof of your mouth. These amazing cells transmit the allergen information into your lymph system where your body learns that these allergens aren't harmful viruses or bacteria. Over time, your body stops reacting to them. It's science-meets-everyday-routine, elegantly disguised as toothpaste.
-
Is this patented? If you love our allergy toothpaste and would like to make your own version, don't. We have a whole portfolio of issued patents on allergy toothpaste as well as 25 issued patents around the world. If you'd like to work with us, we would love to talk to you about how we can help people stop suffering from allergies. Allergies are a big problem, we need to work together to solve this!
-
Can multiple family members use the same tube?Absolutely. Just be cool about hygiene — no double-dipping! (Or grab extra tubes if your house runs on chaos like ours does.) Everyone deserves a little relief.
-
Can I use it with other types of toothpaste?Technically, yes — but we don’t recommend splitting duties. Our formula is designed to deliver results through consistent exposure. It’s like a story that only works if you stick with it 'til the end.
-
What about mouthwash? Most mouthwashes will break down the important proteins in the toothpaste, so don't use mouthwash after brushing. If you need mouthwash, use it before you brush.
-
What happens if I stop using it?Once your immune system builds lasting tolerance, you may not need to keep using the toothpaste — many people don’t. But continuing helps keep your immune system sharp, like brushing off the cobwebs before they settle in. For best results use for 3-5 years.
-
Can I use it alongside other allergy medication? You can. But most of our customers find they don’t need anything else after a while. Still, if you're currently on meds, check with your doctor before making changes. We’re great teammates, but we play best solo once your system resets. You should take an antihistamine at least 15 minutes before the first time you use this toothpaste for extra safety.
-
Do I need a special toothbrush or brushing technique?Nope. Use your favorite toothbrush and brush like you normally do. 2 min is the right amount of time, or at a minimum keep the foam in your mouth for 2 min. This toothpaste fits into your existing routine like it was always meant to be there — because genius should feel effortless.
-
What ingredients are in the toothpaste? We blend traditional, all natural oral care ingredients with our proprietary allergy-calming compounds. Our oral care scientists included teeth cleaning, whitening, and cavity fighting properties. There is no fluoride, but there is an all natural remineralizer that we think works even better than fluoride. Every ingredient is clean, effective, and obsessively vetted. No mystery chemicals. No filler fluff. Full ingredient list is on the box — because transparency isn’t optional, it’s just good manners.
-
Is it safe for daily use?Absolutely. We built this to be as safe as your favorite organic toothpaste — but with superpowers. Brush daily, breathe freely, and get back to living.
-
Is it safe for children?Yes, with a wink and asterisk. Our formula is safe for kids, but always check with your pediatrician first — especially if your little one has a complex allergy history. We’re here to help the whole family thrive. The biggest risk we have identified is swallowing it. It can cause cramping. Many allergists prefer allergy toothpaste for children over shots because it is easier, no needles, and an amazing safety profile. You do a great job with your kids, keep it up!
-
Are there any side effects? The vast majority of users experience zero side effects — just the sweet relief of breathing easy. On rare occasions, mild gum sensitivity can occur. Some patients have reported stomach cramping after swallowing a large amount....(hmm, what were they thinking?). If anything feels off, stop use and drop us a line. We're your allergy allies, not just your toothpaste people.
-
Is it fluoride-free or does it contain fluoride? We provide full cavity and allergy fighting power through all natural ingredients. That means Champ allergy toothpaste is fluoride-free. We have included an all natural tooth remineralizer that helps protect teeth from cavities.
-
Can I use it if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding? We always recommend checking with your OB-GYN first. While our ingredients are safe, pregnancy is its own unique adventure. We're not here to replace medical advice — just to make life a little easier for allergy-prone moms. If you are already using Champ allergy toothpaste when you begin your pregnancy you can continue safely. This toothpaste has no impact on breastfeeding since the toothpaste does not enter your bloodstream or digestive track. Don't start using this toothpaste after you are already pregnant, go ahead and wait until next year. You are amazing!
-
Is it vegan / cruelty-free / gluten-free?Yes, yes, and yes. We believe clean living shouldn’t require compromise. No animal testing, no hidden allergens, no nonsense.
-
Is there scientific research or clinical data to support the effectiveness?Yes — and it’s the kind of science that makes you lean in. Our formulation is backed by immunological research and clinical trials showing long-term relief from airborne allergies using oral mucosal exposure therapy (fancy phrase, simple action: brushing). There is 100 years of experience and research in treating allergies through the mucosa. We’ve just taken that research out of the lab and into your bathroom mirror.
-
What does a real Allergist say about this? One of our science advisors, researcher, allergist, and faculty member at Cornell Medical School recorded a short presentation for us about the need, use, and how allergy toothpaste works. If you want the details, here it is!
-
How do you ensure consistent results across different types of allergies? We’ve designed our formula to target a wide range of airborne allergens — from tree pollen to pet dander — using compounds that retrain your immune system’s response. Your system gets smarter with daily use, not overloaded. That’s the elegance of it: one tube, many triggers, real relief.
-
Is Champ allergy toothpaste FDA approved? No, the FDA has not evaluated, tested, or endorsed Champ allergy toothpaste. That being said we adhere to the strict FDA requirements for toothpaste, all natural products, and production standards. Our toothpaste is tested and made in the same strict facility as many of the most popular toothpaste and health & beauty products. Since we are regulated under FDA toothpaste and nutritional supplement laws we can't diagnose or treat any disease or make claims that we can diagnose or treat any disease. Allergy related diseases such as allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis, allergic sinusitis and oral disease can be diagnosed and treated by a licensed medical provider not Champ Health.
